Nantong Haimen Codion Football Club was founded in Nantong Haimen on May 21, 2011. Since its establishment ten years ago, the club has adhered to the education concept of "being a good person, reading good books and playing good football". With the recognition and strong support of Haimen District Government and Haimen District Education and Sports Bureau, more than 150 outstanding young players have been selected to the national team of all ages.
The club currently has a total of 11 single-age elite teams (including 1 reserve team) from U8-U18, including nearly 30 FIFA certified professional coaches and nearly 300 contracted youth players. Since its establishment, the club's teams at all levels have achieved excellent results in the official youth competitions of the national Chinese Football Association and overseas international invitational competitions for many times, and in the 14th National Games, on behalf of the Jiangsu team, won the fourth place in the U18 age group of men's football events, and the talent reserve is far more than the vast majority of domestic professional football clubs at all levels.
In July 2019, the club ushered in a milestone development: the official formation of the professional football team was completed, and the club also transformed from a pure youth club to a professional football club with strong youth training strength.
After the formation of the first team, the club won the runner-up of the Jiangsu Football Association Cup in 2019 and 2020, the champion of the Jiangsu Champions League in 2021 and other honors, and won the runner-up in the Chinese Champions League in November of the same year, and won the ticket to the 2022 Middle League B.
In the 2022 Chinese Football Association Division Two League, the club's own training players Cheng Xin and Yin Hanlong entered the top ten scorers, of which Cheng Xin is tied for the top of the scorer list.
In 2023, in the Chinese Football Association Division Two League, the professional team successfully avoided relegation as the first group. In the same year, the club won the Excellent Social Responsibility Club award, and the player Yange was selected as the best team of the Chinese League B.
